Hi!  I’m Karen Asiain. 

I am a 2D artist, from Mexico city, now living in Vancouver, Canada. My academic studies come from Langara College, Vancouver Film School and a bachelor in Animaiton at Tecnologico de Monterrey. 

As an artist I have strong understanding of shape language, color theory, lighting, perspective and storytelling. Professionally I have work in diverse fields of the industry, from curating the art for a videomapping, motion graphics, illustration and design. Most recently I had the opportunity to work at Mighty studio as a background color and line artist.

Thanks to my previous experience I know how to work with deadlines,clients budgets, receive and engage with the feedack, ensuring the expecationts and quality from the art I provide.

I thrieve for team work environments, even if at first when I don't know anyone I can be a llitle shy but as soon as I started getting more confidence, my energy and passion start to show up.
